iZUP Application Featured in Good Housekeeping Blog

There has been a lot of concern lately regarding the safety of using a mobile device while driving. One mother decided to take action into her own hands after seeing her own son driving dangerously while using his phone. Her solution, the cell phone application iZUP(pronounced eyes up), which will be launched later this year. When this application is activated and your phone detects that the car it's in is travelling above 5 MPH, it will automatically put on hold all texts, voice mails and calls you receive until you are no longer driving. The service even anticipates any potential dangers that would require communication, and allows for calls to 911 and other authorized numbers you choose. It will be available for about $5/month or $50/year for an individual, or family plans will be available for a slightly higher rate.
