Matthew has become a well-known and successful investor for both his understanding of new technologies as well as his ability to build compelling new businesses for the commercial marketplace. In October 2007, he launched Rudyard Partners, a private equity firm, as an investment vehicle to create and deliver new consumer products and businesses to both mass market and specialized users alike. His areas of interest promote the creation of the most compelling user experience. Whether on a device or a network, Matthew explores technologies that implement or integrate content and software so that consumer expectations with new innovations can be surpassed. He is focused on the monetization of old and new media and its interace with various combinations of bits and atoms. Prior to starting Rudyard Partners, Mr. Growney was Co-Founder & Managing Director of Motorola Ventures (MV), the corporate venture capital arm of Motorola, Inc. Matthew was directly responsible for building investment offices in Boston, Silicon Valley, Tel Aviv, and Beijing. He co-managed a $350M portfolio of 70+ companies.
